Church Plant Resident Fund
Goal – $100,000
Over the past several years, Summit Crossing has continued to cast a vision for planting healthy, gospel-centered churches. By God’s grace, we have been a sending church for many new congregations. Our most recent plant, Huntsville Hills, is already thriving and growing.
The Summit Crossing Family of Churches now includes:

- Summit Limestone
- Multiply Church

Through the Church Planting Residency, we continue to raise up and send healthy leaders. Each resident walks through a season of assessment, equipping, coaching, financial partnership, ministry experience, and soul care.

In 2026, we will continue this work and have already begun networking for candidates to apply for the residency. Through your generosity, we will remain a sending church committed to raising up leaders who plant healthy churches and advance the gospel for generations to come.

Member Benevolence Fund
Goal – $100,000
The Member Benevolence Fund exists to care for those in our church family who are walking through difficult seasons. This fund provides financial assistance for members, attenders, and individuals from our city seeking help during times of hardship. Whether it’s help with groceries, gas, counseling, rent, utilities, or funeral costs, this fund exists to meet practical needs and show the love of Christ in difficult times.
Over the years, this ministry has served hundreds of people within Summit Crossing. As we look ahead, the need continues to grow beyond what our regular budget can sustain. Through this year’s Advent Giving Campaign, we invite our church family to give generously so that we can continue to reflect the love of Christ in practical ways.
The early church modeled this kind of care. “All who believed were together and had all things in common… they distributed to anyone as he had need.” (Acts 2:44–45). In the same way, we desire that no one among us would go without.
Churches have often been described as a spiritual hospital where the sick care for the sick, and the Benevolence Fund is one of the clearest ways that we live this out. Your giving helps meet real needs and reminds each person that they are seen, loved, and not alone.

Missionary Care Fund
Goal – $150,000
Last year, our church gave generously to launch the Missionary Care Fund, raising more than $145,000. Because of that generosity, our church was able to go on six care trips around the world to visit and encourage our missionaries. That giving also allowed us to fund our first Missionary Care Retreat in Spain in 2026, where all of our missionaries and their families will gather for rest, renewal, and gospel-centered care.
After a year of implementing this fund, we now better understand what it takes to sustain these rhythms of care for the long term. Our church budget began with $20,000 in 2024 and will grow by about $15,000 each year until it fully covers all care and retreat needs by 2033. This includes the goal of on-site visits to missionaries, ideally once every 2 years and a missionary care retreat every 3 years.
This year’s Advent Giving Campaign will help bridge the gap to long-term sustainability, ensuring that our missionaries never feel forgotten or alone. Your generosity fuels care trips, counseling, retreats, and advocacy efforts that help our missionaries remain healthy, encouraged, and effective in taking the gospel to the nations.
