What kind of church are we? In short, Summit Crossing Community Church is a gospel-centered, non-denominational church in Huntsville, Alabama, serving people and families all throughout Madison County. We’re rooted in protestant, evangelical, and reformed traditions. We gather each Sunday for expositional Bible teaching, worship, prayer, and communion, and we pursue life together throughout the week in small groups called Missional Communities. Our desire is to make maturing and multiplying disciples of Jesus who live on mission in their neighborhoods and around the world.

Plan Your Visit
If you haven’t attended a Sunday worship gathering yet, that’s the perfect next step. When you get here, the only thing you need to do is walk up to our Guest Kiosk near the main entrance. Our team will take it from there. If you have questions before you come, you can reach out to connect@summitcrossing.org.
Here’s what you can expect when you get here:
Casual Clothing
Please wear whatever you’re most comfortable in. We’re not really a dressy-uppy crowd, but if that’s your thing then go for it!
Priority Parking
Turn on your hazard lights when you pull in for front-row parking. Our Parking Team will show you exactly where to go.
Friendly Connection
Head to the Guest Kiosk near our main entrance. You’ll meet a volunteer or two there who’ll show you around and make sure you won’t be alone (unless you want to be!). Oh yeah, they’ve got a small gift for you too.
Passionate Worship
We passionately believe Jesus rose from the dead, and we definitely show that passion when we sing together. We’d love for you to join us in singing, but you can start where you feel comfortable and join us from there.
Engaging Teaching
Our preaching is expository in nature and gospel-centered in content. We simply want to open his word and let God speak for himself, verse by verse. We believe the Scriptures, from beginning to end, are all about Jesus.
Family Focus
Summit Kids is our children’s ministry that serves newborns through fifth graders during both worship gathering times while 6th-12th graders participate in our regular worship gatherings with their families.
If you pre-register your children HERE before 6am on Sunday, your Summit Kids check-in process will go much more quickly when you arrive.
Helpful Volunteers
From our Parking Team to our Seating Team, we have an army of smiling volunteers to help make sure your first impression a good one. If you have a question or concern about anything, please let anyone with a nametag know.
Personal Accommodations
Freshly-brewed coffee is on us, and we also offer a complimentary Piper & Leaf tea selection.
Are you a nursing mother? We’ve got a private room where moms can livestream the worship gathering while you feed your little ones.
Have a kid who needs a little extra help? Our children’s ministry has “buddies” to serve families with special needs.
